The global shooting community is abuzz as the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) announces the launch of the inaugural edition of the Shooting League of India (SLI). This new league is set to reshape the landscape of shooting sports, igniting enthusiasm among fans and athletes worldwide.

With more than 400 athletes from countries including India, Kazakhstan, Russia, and the USA already registered, NRAI President Shri Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo expressed his excitement over the positive response. 'We are truly delighted by the overwhelming response and the number of registrations we have received. It's a strong validation of our vision for the Shooting League of India,' he stated.

Scheduled to run between 20th November and 2nd December 2025, the SLI will feature mixed team events in pistol, rifle, and shotgun categories. Competing teams will be divided into two pools, and players will be grouped into four competitive tiers, ensuring a blend of experience and emerging talent. The registration remains open until mid-July 2025.
