Paul Ince Charged with Drink-Driving: Former Manchester United Midfielder Faces Court

Former Manchester United and England midfielder Paul Ince has been charged with drink-driving, according to police reports on Monday. Ince, who played for England 53 times and won two Premier League titles with United, has been released on bail and is set to appear in court on July 18.

The incident involved a collision with a central reservation barrier by a black Range Rover, prompting officers to arrest a 57-year-old man later identified as Ince, as stated by Cheshire police. Ince, residing in Quarry Road, Neston, has been officially charged with drink-driving.

Attempts by Reuters to reach Ince's representative for comment have been unsuccessful. Ince transitioned from a celebrated playing career to management, leading Milton Keynes Dons to a League Two title in 2007-08, and he recently managed Reading during the 2022-23 season.
