Smriti Mandhana, India's star opening batter, has achieved a career-best rating in the latest ICC Women's T20I rankings following her remarkable century against England. Mandhana, already the No.1 ranked ODI batter, delivered a stunning innings of 112 runs in Nottingham, propelling her to third place among T20I batters.

With a new career-high rating of 771 points, Mandhana is just 23 points behind the top-ranked Beth Mooney. Fellow Indian opener Shafali Verma has advanced one spot to 13th in the T20I rankings, thanks to her performance in the same match. Meanwhile, Indian teammate Harleen Deol has re-entered the rankings, landing in joint 86th after a brisk 43-run knock.

The Nottingham encounter also witnessed England's pacer Lauren Bell rising two spots to a career-best fourth place among T20I bowlers after claiming three wickets. The race at the top remains tight, with leading Pakistan spinner Sadia Iqbal maintaining her position, as just 44 rating points separate the top 10 bowlers. In other developments, Proteas' Miane Smit and Sune Luus made significant strides in the rankings following their performances against the West Indies.
