India Secures Medals at World Boxing Cup
Hitesh Gulia and Sakshi have guaranteed medals for India at the World Boxing Cup by reaching the semifinals. Hitesh won decisively against Kazakhstan's Almaz Orozbekov in the men's 70kg category. Sakshi triumphed in the women's 54kg category, joining Minakshi, Pooja Rani, and Sanju as assured medallists for India.

India's boxing contingent has secured more accolades at the World Boxing Cup, thanks to stellar performances by Hitesh Gulia and Sakshi. Both athletes have advanced to the semifinals, ensuring India of additional medals.
In an impressive show of skill, Hitesh achieved a clean 5:0 victory over Kazakhstan's Almaz Orozbekov in the men's 70kg division. Meanwhile, Sakshi demonstrated her prowess by defeating Brazil's Tatiana Regina de Jesus Chagas through a unanimous decision in the women's 54kg category.
They join the ranks of Minakshi, Pooja Rani, and Sanju, who have already confirmed podium finishes. As the competition progresses in Astana, India's team aims for a compelling conclusion, with eyes set on the forthcoming World Boxing Cup Finals in New Delhi.
