Sinner's Surprise: Ferrara's Return After Doping Drama
Wimbledon champion Jannik Sinner reappointed his former fitness coach, Umberto Ferrara. Sinner parted ways with Ferrara and physiotherapist Naldi last year due to doping issues. Ferrara's return aims for continuity in Sinner's preparations for upcoming major tournaments.

Wimbledon champion Jannik Sinner announced the reappointment of his former fitness coach Umberto Ferrara. The decision marks a significant shift following Sinner's doping controversy last year.
Sinner had previously cut ties with Ferrara and physiotherapist Giacomo Naldi after testing positive for clostebol, linked to a substance inadvertently introduced into his system. This occurred because of an over-the-counter spray used by Naldi. An independent tribunal cleared him of any wrongdoing.
The Italian star is gearing up for the Cincinnati and U.S. Opens, aiming for top performance levels. Sinner's three-month ban, endorsed by WADA, concluded, underlining his focus on maintaining continuity in his athletic development.
