Hamilton's Quest for Ferrari Revival: A Drive for Change
Lewis Hamilton, frustrated by his lack of victories and podium finishes in his debut season at Ferrari, takes proactive steps by engaging in meetings with Ferrari's leadership. He aims to address team shortcomings, seeking improvements and structural adjustments to rejuvenate Ferrari's performance before the Belgian Grand Prix.
Lewis Hamilton, disheartened by his lack of victories during his initial season with Ferrari, has decided to take matters into his own hands. With no wins, podium finishes, or a feasible championship in sight, Hamilton is challenging the team's approach.
During the summer break, he met with Ferrari's top brass, including President John Elkann, CEO Benedetto Vigna, and Team Principal Frederic Vasseur, to outline necessary improvements. Hamilton cited Ferrari's longstanding underperformance, even with previous champions like Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso.
Determined to change course, Hamilton, who shares a record of seven championships with Michael Schumacher, submitted significant documents outlining structural adjustments and voiced his concerns with Ferrari's current car. He emphasized the need for immediate action, as Ferrari, despite being second in the constructors' standings, lags behind leader McLaren.
