Robert Wood "Woody" Johnson, the co-owner of the New York Jets, has completed the purchase of Eagle Football Holdings' stake in Crystal Palace, the Premier League club announced Thursday.

The agreement to buy the stake was signed on June 23, subject to approval, and is reported by British media to be worth nearly £190 million, with Johnson acquiring a 43% stake in the club.

Johnson, who served as the U.S. Ambassador to the UK, joins as a partner and director alongside chairman Steve Parish and co-owners Josh Harris and David Blitzer. He expressed admiration for the club's history and future aspirations, indicating his commitment to enhancing its successes.
