In a symbolic gesture, Governor Parnaik handed Yano a ceremonial ice axe adorned with the Indian Tricolor, applauding her determination as a testament to human courage and the spirit of dreaming beyond boundaries. The event showcased Arunachal's collective pride in Yano's achievements, as she joins an elite group attempting this global challenge.
With financial backing from State Sports Minister Kento Jini, and the symbolic support of students and cadets, Yano's journey is a beacon of inspiration, echoing the adventurous spirit that the Governor hopes to impart upon future generations.
