CABS Boosts Zimbabwe Cricket with US$ 50,000 Sponsorship
Zimbabwe Cricket has secured a US$ 50,000 sponsorship from CABS to support its five provincial first-class teams. This funding will enhance player welfare, coaching, and talent development, crucial for the growth of domestic cricket in Zimbabwe.

The Zimbabwe Cricket board has announced a substantial sponsorship from CABS, amounting to US$ 50,000, aimed at supporting the country's primary first-class teams. The financial injection will benefit the Eagles, Rhinos, Tuskers, Mountaineers, and Southern Rocks across key domestic competitions.
According to ZC managing director Givemore Makoni, this partnership with CABS is set to enhance the foundational aspects of the game in Zimbabwe, focusing on player welfare, coaching, and talent development. Makoni emphasized the long-term benefits this financial support will bring to Zimbabwe's cricket infrastructure.
CABS Managing Director Mehluli Mpofu highlighted that this sponsorship reflects a larger commitment to nurturing Zimbabwe's young talent. Mpofu noted that by investing in cricket, CABS is paving the way for young Zimbabweans to find opportunities and foster a sense of national pride.
