The second day of the prestigious 15th Hockey India Sub-Junior Men's National Championship showcased a series of exciting victories as six teams emerged triumphant in their respective matches. Dominating the field, Jammu & Kashmir, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Bengal, Gujarat, and Kerala each showcased skillful play and strategic prowess.

Kicking off the day's matches, Jammu & Kashmir secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Le Puducherry Hockey in what proved to be a tense Pool A game in Division 'C'. Captain Prabvir Singh Bali netted the decisive goal, clinching the win in the last quarter and setting a spirited pace for the rest of the day.

In a particularly thrilling matchup, the Hockey Association of Bihar dominated the field against Tripura in Pool B of Division 'C' with a phenomenal 19-0 scoreline. Early goals set the stage for a scoring fest led by Deepu Vishwakarma, Satyam Kumar Pande, and Amritanshu Pandey, each showcasing exceptional skill and collecting several hat-tricks.

Further victories included Hockey Uttarakhand's 5-1 win over Mizoram in Pool B of Division 'C', where Sarthak Mahar and his team tactically outplayed their opponents, while Bengal secured a clean 2-0 victory against Arunachal in a tense Pool A Division 'B' face-off. In another tightly contested match, Hockey Gujarat overcame Chhattisgarh 2-1 thanks to Alpeshbhai Vala's double strike.

Kerala Hockey delivered a masterclass performance, defeating Hockey Himachal 6-1 in Pool B of Division 'B'. As the day drew to a close, anticipation grew for the upcoming clash between Manipur and Andhra Pradesh, promising more thrilling hockey action. (ANI)
