Women's World Cup champion Divya Deshmukh expressed gratitude towards her family and first coach, Rahul Joshi, following her spectacular victory. She was warmly welcomed at Nagpur airport by her family, fans, and Maharashtra Chess Association President Parinay Fuke.

The 19-year-old chess sensation recently made history as the youngest player to clinch the Women's World Cup title, prevailing over experienced competitor Koneru Humpy in a thrilling all-Indian final tie-breaker held in Batumi, Georgia.

Deshmukh plans to take a short break before competing in the Grand Swiss Tournament. A public felicitation ceremony featuring Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Nagpur MP Nitin Gadkari is scheduled for August 2 to honor her achievements.
