Nepal is gearing up to host the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 Qualifier, scheduled from January 12 to February 2, 2025, according to the International Cricket Council (ICC). Ten teams will compete for four highly sought-after spots in the main event, set to unfold in England and Wales in 2026.

Bangladesh and Ireland have secured automatic entries to the Qualifier by participating in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024. Teams from Thailand and Nepal have qualified through the Asia regional pathway, while the United States earned its spot via the Americas region.

The remaining five positions will be contested by two teams each from Africa and Europe and one from the East Asia-Pacific region after finishing their regional Qualifiers. In Nepal, the competition will divide the 10 teams into two groups of five, leading into a Super Six stage and a final showdown. The full tournament schedule will be announced soon.

Meanwhile, the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 will be staged in England and Wales from June 12 to July 5, featuring 33 matches over 24 days across various venues, including iconic grounds like Old Trafford, Headingley, and the Lord's Cricket Ground, where the finals will take place.
