Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar has made a permanent switch from Paris Saint-Germain to Turkish club Fenerbahce, signing a four-year contract, the club announced on Thursday. Skriniar will be earning an annual salary of 8 million euros, with the transfer fee remaining undisclosed.
Skriniar initially joined the Istanbul-based team on loan from PSG in January, before the transfer was finalized this week. This move comes after Skriniar's impactful performance last season, where he played a crucial role in helping Fenerbahce secure the second spot in the Turkish Super Lig.
The 30-year-old player, who came to PSG from Inter Milan in 2023, is set to continue his professional relationship with Fenerbahce, who are currently managed by acclaimed coach Jose Mourinho. ($1 = 0.8760 euros)
