In a major shift in European football, Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar has officially left Paris Saint-Germain to permanently join Fenerbahce, as confirmed by the clubs on Thursday. Skriniar, who has been on loan with the Turkish club since January, has signed a four-year contract.

Fenerbahce announced that the defender will receive an annual salary of 8 million euros, though the transfer fee remains undisclosed. This move marks Skriniar's transition from his previous tenure at PSG, where he joined from Inter Milan in 2023 and contributed to securing a second-place finish for Fenerbahce in Türkiye's top league last season.

Additionally, Fenerbahce has strengthened their squad with the signing of Portuguese international Nelson Semedo on a two-year deal. Semedo, who played for Barcelona and Benfica, joined on a free transfer following the end of his contract with Wolverhampton Wanderers. With these strategic signings, Fenerbahce seeks to bolster its defensive lineup under the management of Jose Mourinho.
