The Tripura Cricket Association (TCA) is set to make history by hosting its first-ever T10 friendly cricket match. The Bengal Tigers will face off against the TCA XI at Kamalpur Cricket Ground in the Dhalai District this Sunday, August 3.
Subrata Dey, TCA Secretary, confirmed the event's significance, marking a stride in Tripura's sporting ventures, with thousands of cricket fans anticipated. 'This national-standard match in Dhalai is a milestone,' Dey commented while supervising preparations.
Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, known for supporting sports and youth programs, will inaugurate the event. His involvement underscores his commitment to the 'Ek Tripura, Shreshtha Tripura' initiative. The weekend will culminate with a T20 match between the same teams on August 4, 2025, at Agartala's MBB Stadium.
