Yuva Andhra Championship 2025: A Kabaddi Extravaganza Marks a New Era

The Yuva Andhra Championship 2025 launched with zeal at the Chennupati Ramakotaiah Municipal Corporation Indoor Stadium in Vijayawada. This 11-day event, organized by the Andhra Kabaddi Association, aims to highlight premier Kabaddi talent across Andhra Pradesh, offering them an opportunity to enter the Telugu Kabaddi League.

The inaugural day faced a schedule shift as matches between Amravati Crushers vs Vizag Commandos and Krishna Defenders vs Tirupati Riders were postponed. However, the day gained enthusiasm with an exhibition match attended by Chief Guest Kesineni Sivanth (Chinni) and the Andhra Kabaddi Association members.

Highlighting the competitive spirit, Kurnool Knights edged out Kakinada Kraken 36-32 after a dramatic comeback. Led by V Durga Prasanth's 11 raid points and Kunchala Srikanth's versatile gameplay, the Knights emerged victorious. In another face-off, Vizianagaram Ninjas defeated Bhimavaram Guardians 48-38, driven by Chekka Nagababu's formidable performance.
