The 17-year-old prodigy faced Egyptian opponent Habiba Hani and was trailing 1-2 in games when injury struck, leading her to retire at 10-4 in the fourth set.
Anahat, who has already made history as the youngest Indian medalist at the Asian Games, initially seized the advantage by winning the opening game 11-9. However, Hani staged a comeback to take the next two games 11-5 and 11-8, showcasing her resilience and determination.
