The Asian Hockey Federation has unveiled the match schedule for the Asia Cup Rajgir, Bihar 2025. Running from August 29 to September 7, the tournament is a pivotal event, determining the Asian representative for the FIH Hockey World Cup, Belgium, Netherlands 2026. Host nation India is set for a thrilling face-off with China on opening day.

Following their opening game against China, India will compete against Japan on August 31 and culminate their group stage versus Kazakhstan on September 1. The competition format places India in Pool A alongside Japan, China, and Kazakhstan. Pool B comprises Malaysia, Korea, Bangladesh, and Chinese Taipei, with top teams advancing to the Super4s and the grand final scheduled for September 7.

Reflecting on the event's significance, AHF President Fumio Ogura stated, "The Hero Asia Cup Rajgir Bihar 2025 will be a monumental showcase of Asian hockey's finest. With World Cup qualifiers at stake, every match is crucial. This edition promises electrifying clashes, a surge of inspiration for millions, and a profound impact on the sport across Asia," as per the press release.
