Suryakumar Yadav Leads India in Fearless Pursuit of Asia Cup Glory

Former Indian batsman Virender Sehwag has expressed confidence in the Indian T20I team's ability to clinch the upcoming Asia Cup, thanks in large part to Suryakumar Yadav's fearless captaincy. Sehwag believes that Yadav's aggressive leadership style is well-suited to the fast-paced T20 format.

The Asia Cup, set to take place in the UAE from September 9 to 28, will see India competing in Group A alongside traditional rivals Pakistan, hosts UAE, and Oman. Meanwhile, Group B features Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh.

Sehwag was speaking during Sony Sports Network's 'RagRagMeinBharat' campaign, highlighting the unity and passion that Indian cricket inspires across diverse regions of the country. Suryakumar Yadav will captain a 15-member squad, supported by Test skipper Shubman Gill as vice-captain, with matches scheduled in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
