Indian golfer Gaganjeet Bhullar delivered a stellar performance at the Jakarta International Championship, firing an impressive five-under 65 in both the opening and second rounds amid rain delays. By doing so, he climbed to second place, trailing Thailand's Pavit Tangkamolprasert by just one shot.

The 37-year-old began his first round with an invigorating eagle on the first hole, continuing to show formidable form as he reached a double-digit score of 10-under. Bhullar's strong track record in Indonesia, with five previous victories, sets him up for a hopeful sixth win.

Other Indian golfers had varied fortunes on the course. S Chikkarangappa improved to a T-26 position with scores of 69-67. Meanwhile, Rahil Gangjee and others showed potential but faced challenges maintaining consistency on the leaderboard.
