Gresini Racing's Alex Marquez clinched the Spanish Grand Prix title for the second year in a row after a dramatic race on Sunday. His brother and pole sitter, Marc Marquez, crashed on the second lap, paving the way for Alex's victory.
Starting in fifth position, Alex wasted no time in overtaking competitors to seize the lead from Marc, who was chasing his inaugural victory at Jerez since 2019 before his unfortunate crash.
Marco Bezzecchi of Aprilia maintained his championship lead by finishing second, unable to catch Alex over the 25 laps. VR46 Racing's Fabio di Giannantonio secured third place on the podium.
