Austrian golfer Bernd Wiesberger clinched the China Open with a flawless 4-under 67 final round, marking his first win since rejoining the European tour from LIV Golf. Overcoming Spain's Adrian Otaegui's lead, Wiesberger secured his ninth European title with a 19-under 265 finish.
In an impressive showcase of skill and determination, Austrian golfer Bernd Wiesberger claimed victory at the China Open. Playing bogey-free in the final round, Wiesberger closed with a 4-under 67, overtaking Spain's Adrian Otaegui.
Otaegui, who once held a three-shot lead on the back nine, faltered with critical mistakes. He dropped shots on both par 3s at the Shanghai Enhance Anting Golf Club, paving the way for Wiesberger's triumphant comeback.
Wiesberger, who returned to the European tour after his stint with the Saudi-backed LIV Golf, clinched the title with a 19-under 265. This marks his ninth career European title and a significant milestone since his last victory in Denmark in 2021.
