Jos Verstappen, a former Formula One driver and father to four-time world champion Max Verstappen, experienced a dramatic crash during the Rallye de Wallonie in Belgium. According to event organizers, the 54-year-old walked away unscathed.

Despite the Dutchman's Skoda being left badly damaged after a violent roll, the organizers confirmed in a Facebook statement that both crew members emerged unharmed. Verstappen, who was the previous year's Belgian Rally Championship winner, had to withdraw from the event.

Further reports from local media revealed that Verstappen lost control and collided with a tree. Meanwhile, Adrian Fernemont went on to secure his third victory at the Rallye de Wallonie.
