India's esteemed female golfers are gearing up for the inaugural MCB Ladies Classic in Mauritius. Diksha Dagar, joined by Tvesa Malik, Vani Kapoor, and Hitaashee Bakshi, leads the charge at the picturesque Legends Course. Vani Kapoor brings recent experience from the IGPL Invitation at the Anahita Course.
Diksha Dagar, eyeing a triumph at the Women's Indian Open this season, commences her campaign at 7:20 am alongside Alessandra Fanali and Alexandra Forsterling. Meanwhile, Hitaashee Bakshi pairs with Lianna Bailey and Gabriella Cowley, while Tvesa Malik competes with Lilly May Humphreys and Bobbi Brown. Vani Kapoor tees off with Corrine Viden and Chloe Williams.
The attention is also on England's Esme Hamilton, fresh from her win at the Investec SA Women's Open. With momentum in her favor, Hamilton has promptly arrived in Mauritius, eager to sustain her impressive form. She ranks fourth in the LET Order of Merit as the intense competition sees 120 players vying in a 54-hole stroke play challenge at the Constance Belle Mare Plage's Legends Course with its narrow fairways and tough greens.
Hamilton starts her title pursuit at 7:40 am, playing alongside France's Agathe Laisne and Sweden's Kajsa Arwefjall.
