Sunrisers Hyderabad Drafts Rising Star RS Ambrish
Sunrisers Hyderabad has named RS Ambrish as a replacement for the injured Shivam Mavi in the IPL season. Mavi's replacement, Ambrish, played a key role in India's Under-19 World Cup victory as the joint-highest wicket-taker, adding value to his new team with his all-rounder skills.
Sunrisers Hyderabad announced on Friday that RS Ambrish will replace Shivam Mavi for the remainder of the Indian Premier League season. Ambrish steps in as Mavi is sidelined due to a groin injury, the IPL confirmed in a statement.
An all-round talent, Ambrish was instrumental in India's Under-19 World Cup success earlier this year. He clinched 11 wickets, making him the joint-highest wicket-taker for the team, underlining his potential on the global stage.
The right-arm medium pacer and left-handed batter will join the Sunrisers Hyderabad roster for a fee of Rs 30 lakh, looking to bolster the team's performance as the competition progresses.
