The Indian Golf Union (IGU) has announced the participation of a three-member Indian team in the prestigious Queen Sirikit Cup, set to take place at the Sentul Highlands Golf Club, Bogor, Indonesia, from May 12 to 15, 2026.
This renowned event, coordinated by the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation (APGC) with The R&A, will see 15 nations competing, including defending champions South Korea. India's team, led by the 2025 Ladies Order of Merit champion Guntas Kaur Sandhu, promises a strong challenge. Sandhu is in excellent form, boasting six victories and 17 top-10s from 20 starts in the current IGU season.
The team features Haryana's Ceerat Kang and Keya Badugu from Delhi, with Vandana Aggarwal serving as team manager. The event is not just a competitive platform but also a chance for Indian players to gain international exposure and hone their skills against top-notch players globally.
