The T20 Mumbai League, featuring top cricketers like Suryakumar Yadav and Shreyas Iyer, returns to Wankhede Stadium from June 1 to June 13. Simultaneously, the inaugural women's tournament will take place. The event marks a crucial step in promoting Mumbai's cricketing talent across genders and fostering a vibrant cricket ecosystem.
The T20 Mumbai League is set for an exciting fourth season, spotlighting prominent athletes including India captain Suryakumar Yadav and IPL's Shreyas Iyer. Scheduled from June 1 to June 13 at Wankhede Stadium, the tournament promises to deliver thrilling cricket action.
This season heralds a significant milestone with the simultaneous introduction of an inaugural women's tournament. Earlier this month, an auction saw 363 women cricketers and several men selected, with three teams investing Rs 1.47 crore to draft 50 players.
According to the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), holding men's and women's competitions concurrently represents a pivotal step in their mission to enhance visibility for cricketing talent. The male competition boasts robust involvement from emerging stars, while the women's league reveals the depth of talent in women's cricket.
