Chennai Super Kings has roped in Karnataka all-rounder Macneil Noronha as a replacement for the injured Ramakrishna Ghosh, the IPL media release announced on Wednesday.

The young talent from Karnataka recently bagged the MA Chidambaram Trophy at the BCCI Naman Awards for his exceptional performance in the 2024-25 Colonel CK Nayudu Trophy (U-23).

Noronha, 24, delivered notable performances during his stint with Karnataka in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy, including a swift 34-run knock and a wicket against Tripura. His selection to join CSK underscores his growing reputation in Indian cricket.
