Swedish Golfer Christofer Bloomstrand Leads Challenge de Catalunya

Veer Ahlawat and Saptak Talwar have been eliminated early from the Challenge de Catalunya after failing to make the cut. Ahlawat managed an impressive bogey-free second round, scoring 4-under 69, after a steady first round of even-par 71.

Saptak Talwar, faced with a challenging first day score of 86, could not recover despite shooting a 1-under 71 the following day. The cut this week was set at 5-under par, proving too high a target for the Indian duo.

Meanwhile, Swedish golfer Christofer Bloomstrand shone on the course, seizing the lead with a stunning 8-under 64. The 34-year-old Swede's performance, which included six birdies and an eagle, moves him into the lead with a total of 13-under par as he remains bogey-free over his last 23 holes.
