Ronda Rousey Triumphs with Armbar Return

Ronda Rousey, a former UFC champion and Olympic judo bronze medalist, made a victorious return to mixed martial arts on Saturday. She secured a quick armbar submission against Gina Carano at the Intuit Dome, marking her first fight in almost ten years.

This comeback was part of the first MMA card organized by Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions. The 39-year-old did not waste time, taking down her opponent Carano, who had also returned to the cage after a 17-year hiatus, and forced a quick tap-out.

Despite the swift defeat, Carano highlighted her participation as a personal victory. In the co-main events, Francis Ngannou knocked out Philipe Lins, while Mike Perry achieved a stoppage win against Nate Diaz.
