Avani Prashanth Faces Challenges at Amundi German Masters

Indian golfer Avani Prashanth faced a challenging third round at the 2026 Amundi German Masters, held at the Ladies European Tour. Battling difficult weather, she scored an 81, significantly dropping down the leaderboard.

Despite enduring a tough start with a 78, Avani rebounded impressively with a four-under 69 in the second round, making her the only Indian to reach the cut. However, the difficult conditions at Green Eagle Golf Courses near Hamburg proved testing.

While Avani had no birdies and struggled with bogeys and double bogeys, Germany's Alexandra Försterling shone, securing a two-shot lead for the final day with her skillful handling of the adverse situation.
