Assistant Coach Parthiv Patel of Gujarat Titans (GT) has lauded Rajasthan Royals' (RR) powerhouse batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi for his electrifying performance as the teams gear up for the IPL 2026 Qualifier 2.
Despite the praise, Patel made it clear that GT has devised specific strategies to counter Sooryavanshi, whose exceptional form has the Titans on high alert. "I am feeling good about the way he is batting. Hopefully, we will try to take him out early in the game," Patel stated, emphasizing the meticulous preparations to curb the young sensation's influence.
As the two sides prepare for a high-stakes clash in New Chandigarh, GT is focused on cementing their place in the final against defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). Sooryavanshi has been a standout performer this season, amassing 680 runs in 15 innings, and presents a significant challenge for any opposing strategy.
