Kapil Dev and Richard Marles Celebrate India-Australia Partnership Through KHUSHII

Former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev commended the strong relationship between India and Australia, appreciating both governments for their efforts in nurturing this bond. Meanwhile, Australia's Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, Richard Marles, lauded the KHUSHII (Kinship for Humanitarian Social and Holistic Intervention in India) organization for its impactful work. The duo took part in 'Manobal', an event celebrating the synergy between the Australian High Commission and KHUSHII, on Monday.
As the founder of the KHUSHII Foundation, Kapil Dev expressed gratitude for the robust ties between the two countries and thanked Australia for its unwavering support of the Indian diaspora. He highlighted the contributions of Indians abroad and stressed the significance of collaborative efforts that KHUSHII embodies in aiding underprivileged children.
During the event, Kapil Dev remarked, "The governments are working diligently on enhancing India-Australia relations. I'm grateful for what Australia is doing for the Indian community. Indians there are doing a wonderful job, and I'm thankful for the support towards KHUSHII's mission of helping children in need." Established in 2003 by Dev, KHUSHII is dedicated to providing quality education and holistic learning opportunities for young Indians.
Australia's Deputy Prime Minister, Richard Marles, echoed Dev's sentiments, praising KHUSHII's work and stating it was an honor to stand alongside Dev. Marles emphasized the unprecedented alignment between the two nations in strategic matters, underscoring their strengthened ties. He noted, "It's a privilege to witness KHUSHII's incredible work with Kapil Dev. The bond between India and Australia has never been stronger."
