Launched in January 2019, the Maruti Suzuki Accelerator program champions open innovation in the automotive manufacturing and mobility sectors. The recent cohort witnessed offerings from nineteen Indian startups and seven German startups, with solutions addressing cybersecurity, road safety, EV infrastructure, and other domains. This global reach aligns with Maruti Suzuki's goals under the 'Make in India' and 'Startup India' campaigns, as all winning startups are set to conduct real-world proofs of concept with Maruti teams.
