Fox Corp has strategically acquired Caliente TV, a sports streaming platform, to bolster its presence in the Mexican sports broadcasting market. The acquisition enables Fox Corp to deliver premium sports content, including UEFA Champions League, France's Ligue 1, and select Liga MX matches, to a broader audience in Mexico.

The company announced plans to introduce a new pay TV channel and a subscription video-on-demand service. These services will accompany its existing free, ad-supported Tubi platform. Carlos Martinez, Fox's executive vice president for Latin America, will lead the rollout of these new ventures, which are projected to create over 350 jobs.

Martinez, who brings extensive experience from previous roles at Turner, Discovery, and Fox, will spearhead the company's expansion efforts in Mexico and Central America. Meanwhile, Fox Corp's new subscription streaming service, Fox One, is set to debut ahead of the fall American football season, broadening its audience reach beyond cable television.
