Cyber Chaos: Belarusian Hackers Disrupt Russia's Aeroflot
The Belarusian Cyber Partisans, a hacking group known for their disruptive activities, allied with Silent Crow to take responsibility for a significant cyberattack on Russia's Aeroflot airline. The attack caused widespread travel disruptions, as both groups continue their politically motivated cyber operations allegedly linked to pro-Ukrainian efforts.

The Belarusian Cyber Partisans have claimed responsibility for a major cyberattack on Aeroflot, Russia's flagship airline, bringing flights to a standstill across the country. The group, known for its aim to overthrow Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, joined forces with the lesser-known Silent Crow for the operation.
Since their debut amid protests against Lukashenko in 2020, the Cyber Partisans have executed various audacious hacks, including targeting state media and law enforcement. Silent Crow, meanwhile, has a more subdued profile but has claimed attacks on Russian infrastructure, possibly with pro-Ukrainian ties.
Cybersecurity tracking firm Bi.Zone notes Silent Crow's political motivations, with links to Ukrainian hacker factions. Despite claims of independence from state intelligence, these groups' actions fit into the wider digital conflicts amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war.
