The Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has greenlit the establishment of a Common Facility Centre (CFC) in Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh, aimed at enhancing electronics manufacturing and drawing investments, according to the state government's announcement.

This development means Chhattisgarh will no longer depend on traditional electronics hubs like Bengaluru and Pune for essential services like testing or prototyping. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and guidance from Housing and Environment Minister OP Choudhary, the project is anticipated to transform the state's electronics ecosystem.

The facility, spanning 3.23 acres and costing Rs 108.43 crore, will provide advanced testing and prototyping services crucial for manufacturers. The government expressed optimism that the CFC would serve as a cornerstone for regional growth, innovation, and employment.
