In a significant move, automaker Kia India has announced a partnership with the Automotive Skill Development Council (ASDC) to promote collaborations between industry and academia aimed at developing talent in the automotive sector.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the two entities focuses on creating a sustainable skilling ecosystem and improving placement support, particularly in light of the growing importance of electric vehicle (EV) adoption and enhanced customer experience in India's ongoing mobility transformation.
Joonsu Cho, Kia India's Chief Sales Officer, highlighted the importance of this collaboration in shaping a future-ready ecosystem driven by skilled human capital.
