Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has emphasized the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in improving the quality of detailed project reports (DPRs) across various sectors including highway construction, mining, and agriculture.
During a recent address, Gadkari pointed out that DPRs by consultancy firms often lack quality and AI could revolutionize this process by providing accurate data for project execution. He noted that AI could also be instrumental in the analysis of road accident data to improve safety.
Gadkari also aligned this innovation drive with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of making India the third-largest economy, although he cautioned on the potential misuse of AI.
