JSW Sarbloh Motors, a subsidiary of JSW Group, announced a joint venture with Tomcar USA for the local production of the TX range of all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) in India. This strategic move aligns with the group's mission to bolster India's defence capabilities.
Tomcar, based in Phoenix, Arizona, is renowned for high-performance ATVs used in military and industrial operations. The collaboration will see JSW Sarbloh Motors indigenize and manufacture these vehicles at a facility in Chandigarh, aiming for the first units to roll out by early 2026.
The partnership marks a significant milestone, as JSW's advanced manufacturing expertise combines with Tomcar's engineering prowess to offer robust vehicles to Indian Armed Forces. This venture will also expand Tomcar's footprint into right-hand-drive markets, providing tactical mobility solutions globally.
