Odisha's Tech Leap: NIELIT Centre at Balasore to Boost Youth Opportunities

Odisha takes a significant step in digital education with the inauguration of a National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) center in Balasore. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi highlighted the new opportunities for learning and employment that the center will provide for the state's youth.

The announcement follows the grand opening of five NIELIT centers across India, as reported by an official statement. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw spearheaded this initiative, emphasizing the importance of digital skilling for the nation's future. The Balasore center is a substantial achievement for Odisha, aiming to boost the region's IT capabilities.

NIELIT, operating under the Ministry of Electronics and IT, now boasts 56 centers across India, making strides in fostering a digitally equipped generation.
