Ukraine's Security Risk Amid Middle East Conflicts
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy expressed concern over the potential risks to U.S. anti-missile defence supplies if the war in Iran persists. Despite limited U.S. production, Ukraine has faced no supply disruption. Agreements with Middle Eastern nations offer expertise from Ukraine's drone counteraction experience, with training missions also planned.
Ukraine could encounter heightened risks in obtaining U.S. anti-missile defences if the war in Iran continues for a prolonged period, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
During an interview with CNN, Zelenskiy noted Ukraine's limited access to such weaponry due to restricted U.S. production, but emphasized that there has been no supply disruption so far.
Under the PURL programme, NATO countries can finance weaponry purchases for Kyiv, allowing Ukraine to secure crucial anti-ballistic missiles for its defence systems.
