Hero MotoCorp's New CTO: A Step Towards Innovation
Hero MotoCorp appoints Sachin Agrawal as CTO, succeeding Vikram Kasbekar. Agrawal will drive R&D at Hero's global centers, drawing on his 29-year experience in the automotive sector, including previous roles at VE Commercial Vehicles and Daewoo Motors.
Sachin Agrawal has been named the new Chief Technology Officer at Hero MotoCorp, effective from May 21, 2026. This was announced in a regulatory filing on Monday.
Agrawal will succeed Vikram Kasbekar, who will remain on the company's board as Executive Director. Agrawal's appointment marks a strategic move to advance the company's Research & Development efforts at its innovation centers in India and Germany.
With a robust background of 29 years in automotive R&D, Agrawal has previously excelled as Executive Vice President & Head of R&D and Technology at VE Commercial Vehicles. His career began with contributions to the Matiz chassis system at Daewoo Motors in South Korea.
