Krutrim, heralded as India's first AI unicorn, has strategically repositioned itself as a leading domestic AI Cloud Services provider, coinciding with its impressive financial figures for FY26. The company saw a staggering increase, reporting revenues of approximately Rs 300 crore, marking a threefold rise from FY25.
Krutrim's journey to its first annual net profit, boasting a profit margin after tax of over 10%, signifies a momentous step in its evolution towards a sustainable, infrastructure-oriented model. This transformation follows a significant realignment in late 2025, involving capital and talent reallocation and a strategic pause on chip design initiatives.
The company has architected a wholly in-house, full-stack cloud service, deployed on a large scale with no external dependencies. This offers optimized performance, cost-effectiveness, and enhanced control for AI and enterprise workloads, cementing Krutrim's status as a key player in India's AI cloud service sector.
