Strengthening Digital Identity: UIDAI and NFSU Join Forces

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) and National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) have officially embarked on a collaborative journey, signing a five-year memorandum of understanding focused on digital forensics and cybersecurity.
Announced on Tuesday, this partnership aims to address six strategic pillars, including academic and professional development and technical support for cybersecurity activities.
Helmed by UIDAI CEO Vivek Chandra Verma and NFSU's Gujarat campus director Dr. S O Junare, the agreement emphasizes research in areas like artificial intelligence and blockchain, with expectations of enhanced cyber resilience for India's digital identity infrastructure.
