Speaking on the occasion, Sanghavi said this investment will further strengthen Gujarat's semiconductor and electronics manufacturing ecosystem. ''Adoption of smart manufacturing and AI-driven automation technologies will drive technological advancement at the local level while generating large-scale employment opportunities. ''Gujarat is emerging as the first-choice destination for global technology companies due to its robust infrastructure and industry-friendly policies. The investment by Hotayi will also provide new momentum to the 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' and 'Make in India' initiatives,'' he added. Sanand has emerged as a major Indian semiconductor hub, with Micron and Kaynes Semicon having recently commenced production at their units. Both facilities were inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
