The main construction work of the Ram temple in Ayodhya has been completed, and work is currently underway for its boundary wall, a museum and other offices, a temple trust official said on Sundai. Chairman of the temple construction committee, Nripendra Mishra, said construction firms Larsen & Toubro and Tata Consultancy Services will withdraw from the temple premises by June 30 after completing their assigned work. However, a team from L&T will remain permanently deployed at the temple complex for maintenance purposes, he said. ''The main construction work of the Ram mandir has been completed and darshan-pujan arrangements for devotees in all sub-temples are functioning smoothly,'' Mishra told reporters. He said a four-kilometre-long hi-tech boundary wall is being constructed to strengthen security around the temple complex and is targeted to be completed by the end of 2026. According to Mishra, construction of the Ram temple trust office and a state-of-the-art museum is currently underway. The museum will have 20 galleries, including a special gallery aimed at giving devotees an experience similar to visiting the temple. He added that facade lighting work will also begin soon to enhance the temple's appearance.
