N Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), emphasizes that artificial intelligence is rapidly evolving into the foundational intelligence infrastructure for enterprises worldwide. In TCS's 2025-26 Annual Report, Chandrasekaran detailed how the company has expanded its 'Human+AI' model, generating substantial revenue from AI services.

Chandrasekaran outlined plans for an AI operating system tailored to accelerate deployment of agentic AI solutions, and emphasized construction of India's first AI-focused data center with significant power capacity. Additionally, TCS aims to strengthen partnerships with hyperscalers and industrial OEMs to enhance its 'Infrastructure to Intelligence' offerings.

Amid global macroeconomic changes, India is strategically positioning as a key AI infrastructure destination. TCS reported notable financial growth, with a 12.22% profit jump in the March quarter and significant job additions, reflecting positive momentum despite previous quarters of employee reductions.
