CII Postpones Business Summit Amid Tensions

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has decided to postpone its much-anticipated Annual Business Summit, originally set to take place in May 2025. The postponement comes in light of 'prevailing evolving circumstances' involving the current situation with Pakistan, according to sources familiar with the decision.

The internal communication disclosed that several Union ministers and approximately 1,500 member companies were expected at this significant event. The organization emphasized that the decision reflects a commitment to contribute constructively amidst the current national circumstances.

Attendees have been informed that new dates for the summit will be released in the near future. CII also noted that many speakers and participants had expressed difficulties in attending under the current circumstances.
