DPIIT and YourStory Media Join Forces to Ignite Grassroots Entrepreneurship in India

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has inked a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with YourStory Media Private Limited, a leading digital platform. This initiative aims to bolster inclusive entrepreneurship and support dynamic startups across India.
The collaboration is set to empower an estimated 1 million entrepreneurs with AI-driven tools and platforms like venture launchpads and regional language storytelling under the Bharat Project. Additionally, it will integrate flagship startup events to enhance engagement within India's technology sector.
DPIIT Joint Secretary Sanjiv Singh highlighted the critical role of inclusive platforms in nurturing future entrepreneurs, especially from underserved regions, to transform India into a global innovation hub. The formal agreement was signed by Deputy Secretary DPIIT Rajesh Kumar and YourStory CEO Shradha Sharma, witnessed by senior officials from both parties.
